Ten bruises and an all-too-common excuse? Where was this woman's common sense?

I would respectfully suggest that this Indian (?) lady was not familiar with the signs of child abuse. Prhaps it is not too common where she comes from originally. Whatever the explanation, it is difficult to accept that a doctor would not fully examine a baby because he is "cranky." She wouldn't have found cholocate and nappy rash cream covering up the further injuries. The mother didn't think it was necessary. The mother must have sighed with relief when she saw this doctor. No hard nosed male doctor asking questions.

Heartbroken? Shame is a better word that she should feel. A few days before this beautiful baby boy died of horrific injuries, she didn't see him in any discomfort? He must have been comatose. A broken spine, terrible injuries, sunken eyes, a little boy a shadow of his original self, and this certified doctor doesn't have the savvy, the brains, to spot an injury when she sees it? Fire her.

My heart goes out to Baby P's Daddy. He must be more than devastated. He loved the little boy. Too good a man and too wonderful a baby for the bitch who called herself mother. I hope they throw the book at her and that her days in jail are an endless torment - which is what she okayed for this poor little baby.
